In order to provide the best of medical care and to minimise patient inconvenience, GMI prefers that patients make appointments.
There are times, however, when a study needs to be performed urgently and we are very happy to assist.
It is very helpful to discuss the clinical scenario with the Radiologist as this will aid in expediting the urgency.
If you require, the results will be phoned before the patient leaves GMI.
Your patient's results
At GMI, we pride ourselves on the fast turn around of reports. For speed and ease, most referrers prefer to receive their results electronically. Results of studies performed at GMI can also be
faxed or posted. Please let us know your preference.
GMI images and reports are also available online via our iSite PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) as they are completed.
IMPORTANT: Access of Images and Reports via On Line Portal FROM 10th September 2018.
From 9am 10th September 2018, the GMI Intelerad iSite On Line Portal will be turned off for GMI Referrers and the Lake Imaging Visage On Line Portal will be turned on.
If you have a log in to the Lake Imaging Visage On Line Portal, you can use that to see your patients’ images and reports from all Lake Imaging and GMI Practices.
If you do not have a log in to the Lake Imaging Visage On Line portal please click here to request access. The process takes approximately 48 hours. So we ask that we request the access prior to Wednesday 5th September 2018 if you require it on Monday 10th September 2018.There will be no change as to how you receive your reports.
